Rachel Guest | USA

Rachel Guest (W45) lives not only the life of a champion on the track, but off the track as well. Rachel is from the United States of America and currently resides in Surprise, Arizona with her husband and daughter. Her son is currently serving in the US Navy. She competes in the pentathlon, heptathlon, hurdles, and jumps. Her masters athletic accomplishments include: 9 WMA Gold Medals, 12 WMA Silver Medals, 6 WMA Bronze Medals, 36 US National Gold Medals, 5 American Records, and is a member of the USATF Masters Hall of Fame. In addition to competing, Rachel also serves as the USATF Masters Awards Subcommittee Chair and sits as a Chair appointee on the USATF Masters Executive Committee.

When Rachel is not training or competing, she serves as the girl's head track coach at Willow Canyon High School, she is the Founder/Director/Instructor for In Motion Dance, a competitive dance studio, and she runs her own sewing business, RAG Designs.

Her sewing business specializes in making competition dance costumes for local dancers. Knowing that no dancer wants to show up to a competition and have another dancer or group wearing the same costume, Rachel designs and then makes most of the costumes her dancers wear each competition season.

They can dance with confidence knowing their costumes are one of a kind. Rachel also knows that young dancers are extremely self-conscious about how they look on stage and she strives to ensure that each costume’s custom fit removes the worry from her dancers of wearing a costume that doesn’t quite fit their form. Rachel spends hours meticulously crafting each costume to fit the visions of the dancers and choreographers. In the last 4 years, Rachel has received 8 costume awards proving that her time and dedication makes her not only a champion on the track and field, but also in the world of dance.
