Indoor Championships – Closing date 29 January
With the closing date for entries fast approaching, will this be the biggest indoor champs?
The Organising Committee are now preparing for a huge entry in the sprints with 122 men and 46 women already signed up for the 60m, scheduled for 26 and 27th March in Torun’s superb 8-lane arena. The 200m, with 172 entries to-date is even larger.
Entries from women however continue to remain well behind, most notably in the Pentathlon that was at one time one of their most popular events, particularly with the younger age categories.
To-date over 1,000 athletes from 54 sovereign Countries have submitted their entry which augurs well for a new record entry.
